Perhaps the best part is when Terry Gross awkwardly broaches the subject of Jane Lynch’s lesbianism, as she brings up Christy Cummings not once, but twice. When it finally comes up, Jane talks about her self-discovery (“Oh man, really?“) and internalized homophobia.  She also discusses her “stock old lady voice” perfect for commercials.  And, in a personal dream come true, she recites her lines from the Nexium commercial.  It’s a 24 minute interview.  Listen to it here.
