Seven of our hopes and dreams for Jane’s turn on SNL. Please, please, pretty please, let at least the first four come true. Our number one suggestion? Don’t waste her talents. Just – don’t.
Hi! We’re back, and with a vengeance! By “with a vengeance,” we mean “we have NBC promos for Jane Lynch’s SNL episode this week!” They’ve paired her with Fred Armisen for these; in an ideal world, Tina Fey would be back and talking smack with La Lynch … oh well. The last two clips are the best.
Jane Lynch didn’t win an Emmy for her role as Charlie’s therapist in Two and a Half Men, but that’s ok – there’s next week’s Primetime Emmy left to win, and we will start a Jane Lynch to Finally Win an Emmy for Something, Please?! Facebook page if she doesn’t. That will show them. In other news, we’re bringing back some old news: Jane Lynch on Chelsea Lately, talking about a little show named Glee and a little character to add to her wealth of characters, Sue Sylvester. My, how time flies.
That picture is Jane Lynch in high school. This is only a glimpse of Oprah’s powers.
In our humble opinion, if you’re somewhat famous, there are three signs that you’ve not only Made It, but you’re a cultural touchstone: 1) you’ve hosted or played SNL; 2) you’ve sung an educational song or two with a Muppet or two on Sesame Street; and 3) Oprah made you cry. On April 7, Jane Lynch will be 33% there to cultural touchstone-ing. We can’t wait.
