Since we don’t want to get you in trouble with Ryan Murphy for sharing too many upcoming GLEE secrets, perhaps we can get you in trouble for an entirely different reason. With Sue having her own segment on the local news, what are your thoughts on the newest FOX News correspondent Sarah Palin??

I almost don’t want to opinionated but I think she’s as stupid as Sue and as over-the-top. You know what, I bet Sarah Palin will end up looking like Sue Sylvester. She’s going to have these ridiculous views with very little knowledge underneath them. You know I have a joke in the first episode back where I call some of my cheerleaders stupid, saying, “You may be some of the stupidest teens I’ve ever encountered and that’s saying something. I coached a young Sarah Palin.”

Yeah. YEAH!!!!

Jane also semi-explains how Sue Sylvester makes her comeback (“a little sexual blackmail”) and what she knows – or, more accurately – doesn’t know about the writers’ plans for her character.  Go on, read the short Q & A over here.  Us, well, we’re just going to savor that Sarah Palin quote a little bit longer.

“I identify very strongly, and this is going to be very telling, with Tina. Tina is played by Jenna Ushkowitz, and she’s the quiet, stuttering Asian girl. She’s quiet. She stands in the back, and when you hear her sing, you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh. Where did she come from? She has talent,’” Lynch says. “I was kind of that person. I was kind of in the background, and then, every once in awhile, I’d pop in and people would be like, ‘Where did you come from?’”

If you want a full-fledged spoiler for the article, here’s another one:  the songs she wants to sing on Glee are ”Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better” or Queen’s “We Are the Champions.”  Personally, we’re still rooting for Madonna’s “This Used to Be My Playground.”

And this one just came through our inbox this morning: it must have been a press junket on a field trip to the Glee set, as E! talks to Jane Lynch about her Golden Globe nomination. Best part is when Jane explains her philanthropy: “I’m a giver.” Worst part is when we are forced to visualize Sue Sylvester having “angry sex” with Will. Ew.

In other news, Jane Lynch has a short Q & A (will someone please do an actual spread on her already?!) over at Crave.  The article unfortunately is called “Jane Lynch is Our Favorite Villain” – unfortunate because this is a total misreading of the characters Jane plays, and because, really, everyone’s favorite villain is Willem Dafoe, especially after he made that horrendous Lars Von Trier movie, Antichrist.

No, because I was too young for it to become that big of an issue. I know some people feel like they’re in the wrong body. I completely understand that, but I started to accept my feminine nature more as I got older—and love it, too. In A Mighty Wind, I played this very sexy come-hither woman, and it really released me and got me in touch with my own feminine wiles. And it’s been lovely ever since.

Over at ABC News of all places, Jane and Matthew Morrison talk about their respective roles on Glee.  Jane, acknowledging the protection culture of child rearing that has resulted in certain parents freaking out about the “racy” scenes in the show, says, simply, “Well, too bad for them.”  Yeah!  Discussing her track suits, she says, “I’m not wearing them right now and I miss them desperately.”  So do we!  We’re looking forward to seeing her this week, after a Sue Sylvester-less episode last week.

[Q]  You recently spoke at the Human Rights Campaign dinner, where President Obama announced his commitment to ending “don’t ask don’t tell” and the Defense of Marriage Act. What was that experience like?

[A]  I was, of course, thrilled to hear the president, but I’d love for him to do something. He has the power to put a stay on [Don't Ask Don't Tell] right now. He can’t overturn it—Congress has to do that. And I know he’s only been in there a few months, but I just hope he’s not all talk. It was really nice to see him, and I stood up and applauded with everybody else, but we’ve heard it all before, so let’s get moving.

Damn right, Jane.  Let’s get it going.
