Ah, so this voting thing that we, the people do worked: Jane Lynch won last night’s People’s Choice Award for Favorite Television Comedy Actress.  She bested Alyson Hannigan, Courtney Cox, Eva Longoria Parker, and Tina Fey.  Glee won for Favorite Television Comedy.  From the looks of the video (below), both awards were announced at the same time?  That was confusing. Twenty something years working in the business, and Jane Lynch gets not only one, but TWO, Emmy award nominations this morning. Read ‘em and weep in happiness. We haven’t been this excited for a celebrity since Gillian Anderson was nominated for her Emmy way back in 1997. To top things off, Jane Lynch will be on Jay Leno tonight. Today is a good day.
