The 8-bit poster for Wreck-It Ralph, the next Disney movie about good guys and bad guys in an 8-bit video game world , is out and to your right there. Jane voices Sergeant Calhoun, a character from a first person shooter game.
Jane will be hosting “pop musical” and off-Broadway circa 2002 play The Last Five Years at the Third Street Theater in Santa Monica on Friday, May 4th, as part of a benefit staging of the play. Tickets for the show + catered reception here.
For you lucky Portland folks, Jane will be at the Newmark Theatre, talking shop and signing books on Saturday, June 16. Presale tickets start Monday (shh! The password is: WWEEK); tickets are on sale to the public starting on Sunday, April 29 at 10 a.m.
WBEZ has a great conversation with Annoyance Theater’s Mick Napier and Jennifer Estlin to talk about the history of the theater and its famed Chicago alums, including, of course, Jane Lynch.

Oh man, where have we been? Jane Lynch has been making the rounds to promote the return of Glee and the release of The Three Stooges, which comes out this Friday the 13th. Last week, Access Hollywood had this interview with her where she talks about putting on the habit for the first time; last night, she was on Leno (video below); this afternoon, she’s on Ellen, and tonight, Glee returns from hiatus (Sue Sylvester’s pregnant, people. Who/what/where/when/how? We don’t know, but we’re hoping it’s immaculate conception. Just to make things interesting.)

If you want just one interview that ties everything together, go to Collider’s Q & A, which pretty much covers everything from Glee to her voiceover work Pixar (Small Fry, Wreck-It Ralph) (!!!) to the status of the Party Down movie (“Yeah, I know we’re going to do it.”). A while back, Jane Lynch and the rest of the Glee cast stopped into the austere, serious stage of James Lipton’s Inside the Actors Studio. The episode will air on April 9, coincidentally just before Glee returns from a brief hiatus on April 10.
