You’d think she would have scheduled a vacation or something after hosting the Emmys, but no, Jane Lynch is still chugging along like nothing enormously enormous happened last week. Case in point: she was in New Jersey earlier last week to sign copies of Happy Accidents, then popped up at our alma mater, University of California – Berkeley (sigh, someone up there please eat a slice of Cheeseboard Pizza for us… please?) for a Q & A and Happy Accidents signing.
Things to read:
- Just kidding about the Bieber part in the headline. The New York Post does a post-Emmy debrief with Jane; the Q & A covers the Charlie Sheen at the Emmys and whether she’s worried about overexposure (“Yes, I am. I think a little bit of Jane Lynch goes a long way. I may be hitting my limit, and I’m going to go away for a little while.”).
- Jane and Byron Katie do “The Work”, a “method of self-inquiry” that forces you to ask, and answer, the hard questions to figure out the answers to issues stressing you out. By way of example, the pair work out a problem: Jane doesn’t know how to say no to a friend who is asking to borrow money from her. Pretty interesting.
