Sorry – no, we’re not.  We’re proud of our pun.  Jane Lynch will play Mother Superior in the Farrelly Brothers’ adaptation of the mother of all slapstick comedies, The Three Stooges.  Her character will be a sort-of Miss. Hannigan and run the orphanage where the stooges grow up; presumably, then, we will learn the origin of the eye poke.  According to the article, all Stooges have been cast for the movie sans for Shemp, which makes us sad, because we liked Shemp very, very much.

Other news: Jane will be hosting VH1′s Do Something Awards again this year, which will air on August 18 on the music network that is not MTV.
