Because she’s not busy enough: per The New York Times, Jane will release a personal memoir called Happy Accidents that will take us from her years at Second City through her extensive, extensive resume, and how she learned to come out to herself.  Why this, why now?

Setting aside the advice of her therapist, Ms. Lynch said the book project grew out of speeches she has been asked to give since “Glee” took off, for which she frequently contemplates the question: what would she go back and tell her 18-year-old self (other than, lose the perm)?

Ms. Lynch said: “There’s just so much I think I could encapsulate in one phrase: don’t suffer. You’re going to be unsure, you’re not going to have confidence, you’re going to feel like the parade is passing you by. And you can feel all of that, but the mental component of suffering doesn’t have to be there. And if I could go back in time, that’s what I would love to tell myself. You don’t have to sweat it.”

The book is set to be released in September.  We’ll keep you posted.
