The November midterm elections kicked off a season of voting for something far more important than who will run this country for the next two years: who was the best at what in 2010. TV.com is one of the earliest to start the polling with its Best of 2010 Poll, and guess who’s nominated for what? If you guessed Jane Lynch for Funniest Actress for her role in Glee, then you guessed right and can graduate to solving murder mysteries on Clue. As you can see from the above, she’s losing to Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation, which we are hoping hoping hoping will not be cancelled any time soon). Now, if you’re going to lose to anyone, Amy Poehler is not a bad person to whom to lose. That said, WTF?! KICK POEHLER ASS.
Ok, so Jane Lynch gets nothing but bragging rights if she wins, but hey, in some countries, the sacred right to brag is found no where in their constitutions or subsequent amendments. Cherish this one as you hug your guns, people. In fact, go on and brag about your right to bear arms – rifles, civilian-grade AK-47s, snipers, and so on. Best Amendment of 2010? Yeah, Second, we’re looking at you.
Back to TV.com’s poll: when you vote, vote again, because you can vote early and often. It’s the Internet meets Tammany Hall. Click away!
