Friends. Where everyone knows your name, and they’re not even drunk, just highly caffeinated. Jane Lynch has a bit role on the seminal series, as a real estate agent (we think). Do you remember who you were with with Ross and Rachel finally kissed? Hm, yeah, we don’t either.

Jane Lynch, in the flesh, spends 90 great minutes talking about everything – growing up in Dolton, Illinois; doing the Vogue video; Best in Show; getting phone calls from famous people; having an “authoritative butch dyke” thing; and making political statements by not making them. What a treat for all of us.

Jane Lynch is #99 (out of 100) on the Guardian’s list of the 100 most powerful people in media. To us, that’s pretty amazing. We imagine that if the Guardian had a little party to celebrate the 100, each winner would be known by their distinct number on the list, and wear “Hello, My Name is [#].” Jane could wear a Wayne Gretzky jersey instead. We’re just trying to be helpful here.
