As your ship’s captain, we have to apologize for missing the boat on this one: Jane Lynch was on David Letterman last week.  Letterman apparently did his research (we love people who do their research) and goes off his blue card notes and asks her about her work on Second City and Brady Bunch.  Jane eventually gets him to go back on-card, and they talk about other things like Glee and why her dog (right) wears diapers.  The interview actually is pretty funny; Paul Schafer can’t get over how Jane’s stories end with unexpected disappointment (think of Jane in Best in Show and her “… until my mom committed suicide in ’81″ line.)
