FOR THE LA FOLKS: JANE LYNCH PRESENTS AN AWARD

Jane Lynch to Host SNL (Please?)! on Facebook

We’ve had the pleasure of witnessing one of Cornerstone Theater Company‘s productions here in Los Angeles.  Aimed at drawing a line between art and local politics, each of their plays touch upon some pressing issue, whether it be illegal immigration or the Los Angeles river (for you non-LA folk, didn’t you know we had a river that runs through us?  The big big rig vs. Arnold chase scene in Terminator 2?  That was co-starring the cement banks of our local river.  See, it’s not all a desert.)   Every year, Cornerstone presents a Bridge Award to an artist who makes a positive mark on the local community.  This year’s Bridge Award goes to Paris Barclay, executive producer of such things as In Treatment and director of a certain television show.  Yeah, Glee – he directed “Wheels” in which Sue Sylvester showed us she really does have a softer side (it was like walking into a Sears all over again), and “Home,” which will air on April 27th.  Naturally, then, our Jane will present Mr. Barclay with his award.  So awesome. The Bridge Awards are on Tuesday, March 16th in LA.  Tickets are mostly tax deductible, and more than that, it’s a good cause.  A great one.  ’Cause we all love Jane.

And, while we’re talking about things that involve spending, money, thanks everyone for buying your Amazon products through our site!  Clicking an Amazon ad anywhere on Her Name is Jane Lynch helps pay off our totally not tax deductible hosting fees.  What Amazon links you say?  Why, this one, say:
