Here’s a gem: perusing YouTube, as we do on Friday nights when we’re dog sick with the cold (or maybe swine flu?  Hopefully not), we found a video compilation of CBS commercials, circa 2001.  Now, we have no idea why someone would collect these; regardless, watching this reel was like watching a home video of your brother getting hit in the groin with a bat and realizing that you also caught a UFO in the upper left hand corner of the screen:  Jane shows up in a 2001 commercial for Tilex.  She’s channeling Joan Lundon big time as she gives off a few glimmers of her all-knowing, housewife-approved grin.

The first commercial here is for Flonase.  Remember Flonase?  Skip over Flonase and straight to 0:35 for Jane answering Jennifer from San Francisco’s pressing question about bathroom scum.
