Michael Slezak over at Entertainment Weekly asked our Jane what unsung song is in Sue Sylvester’s heart. Jane’s answer: Charlene’s “I’ve Been to Paradise, but I’ve Never Been to Me.”
That’s ok, Jane, but we’ve got other songs on our wishlist. Our top 5 songs we hope Sue Sylvester will sing, not counting a duet with Cookie Monster on “‘C’ is for Cookie”:
- Madonna’s “This Used to Be My Playground”
- Whitney Houston’s “I’m Every Woman”
- Duran Duran’s “Hungry Like a Wolf”
- Santa Esmeralda’s version of “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood”, yes, exactly like that in Kill Bill.
- Belle & Sebastian’s “My Wandering Days Are Over”
Time will tell if Sue Sylvester will soften up enough for a moment to pay homage to Jane’s romance-language serenade to Steve Carell’s character in The 40-year-old Virgin, below.
